Our History Founded in 2009, Meet are a privately owned life sciences search agency that partner with a range of top Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology, Medical Device and Clinical Research Organisations. With this approach, we made the decision to hire a Head of Medical Devices who joined us at the start of the year.   3. 3. I head up the Medical Devices Team here looking after permanent recruitment. For over 5 years now, I have had most of my success within Quality, Regulatory, Audit & Operations. Our market coverage allows us to function in various areas in Europe; QA, RA, Operations, R&D, Validation and Commercial. My years’ experience in the industry has allowed me to build long lasting relationships with highly skilled professionals and businesses ranging from small startups to huge blue chip organisations. Having transitioned from our pharmaceutical team, previously focusing on quality assurance, my role is now to recruit into the contract side of our Medical Device business, and place candidates in interim and consultative positions. With an attentiveness to the ever-demanding needs of our clients, I work with a strong network of individuals in the areas of Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs and R&D. My area of focus is the contract market within QA, RA, Audit, Clinical Literature & Senior Operations. I have been in the recruitment industry for three years & in this time I have forged strong relationships with clients & I represent arguably the strongest network of contractors in the above field in the UK. My ethos is simple, the candidates I put forward for roles are a representation of myself. This means I am fiercely proud of the contractors I work with & deliver on my client’s needs due to knowing which candidates are right for each company based on both skills & personality.. Whilst, as in every recruitment environment, our consultant team are targeted against placements made per month, we do not feel that this has been the key to Meet’s success. We are unique and determined to distinguish ourselves from our competitors through: Targeting on service and not KPIs; Quality rather than Quantity. Meet put emphasis on the quality, not quantity, of delivery by our team of consultants. To reflect and encourage this we talk about ratios rather than KPIs internally, we expect almost every CV sent to result in an interview request, targeting our teams on a maximum 2:1 ratio of CVs:interview. From this we target our teams on a maximum interview:placement ratio of 5:1 to ensure not only strong CVs but equally good matches on a personality and company fit. This dually saves clients time. At Meet, we want to ensure that our standard of service continues and that the level of success increases as we better understand your processes and tailor our approach to your requirements.
