  20. 20. 19th International Symposium, EURO-ŽEL 2011 "New Challanges for European Railways", Žilina 8th – 9th June 2011 Conclusions  With respect to the higher length of its parts the low-angle turnout demands thorough preparation of handling within its transportation and installation and the accurate and precise execution of installation itself within the track axis.  The decisive influence has the vehicles condition as well, which are used in the railway track, particularly their degradation and shape of the wheel profile.  The using of roller lifting-up chairs and application of thrusting and holding mechanisms in the switch and in crossing with moveable parts is the further step how to increase the turnout utility value. This equipment application diminishes the necessity of the slide area lubrication and secures the switch rails and the points of crossing retention in their limiting positions.
