PEACEMAKER

ABRAHAM WAS A PEACEMAKER
• Abraham and his nephew Lot returned with their
families from Egypt to the land of Canaan. When strife
developed between Abram's and Lot's herdsmen,
Abraham acted as a peacemaker between them.

JOSEPH WAS A PEACEMAKER
• When Joseph’s brothers were angry and jealous, he
sought peace with them,
• Not just for his sake but for their sakes as well.

MOSES WAS A PEACEMAKER
The Lord. Yahweh chose Moses as the leader to set
free the Israelites from their pathetic situation.
They were under the clutches of Egyptians and the
Lord saved them miraculously.
These words pointed outs that God does not want to
allow his creatures to live in unpeaceful
circumstances

JONATHAN WAS A PEACEMAKER
• The son of King Saul and friend of David, Jonathan
sought to make peace between his jealous and angry
father and the rising and talented David.

JESUS WAS A PEACEMAKER
• Jesus is our ultimate example of what it means to be
peacemaker.
• The whole Bible is centered around this fact.
• Humans rebelled against God, and with His blood,
paid the price to restore peace between a rebellious
creation and their loving creator.
