These tools all work together to provide a supportive learning atmosphere for students studying
online, and provide an excellent supplemental learning environment for the traditional classroom.

4. eFront Functionality
Based on my research of the eFront LMS and its functionality, I view this software as a comprehensive
tool that students can use to efficiently access courses, stay in contact with instructors and
students, and view course-related material, such as progress reports.
With the availability of 24/7 course access, messaging, forums, and calendars, this LMS will enable
students to effectively learn new concepts in an online-only environment. It also will enable instructors
to supplement the traditional classroom learning experience with effective organization tools that allow
for the integration of traditional classroom, as well as hybrid learning principles.
5. eFront SCORM Compliancy
According to the eFront website, eFront Educational and eFront Enterprise now support SCORM 2004
/ 4th edition. SCORM 2004 4th edition is the latest and most technologically advanced collection of
standards and specifications for web-based eLearning.
Being SCORM compliant helps ensure that the eFront LMS software will run efficiently and will provide
users with excellent interoperability with any necessary related computer systems and software. The
software enables users to complete course activities and learning objectives in a logical manner, and
the ability to share information with instructors and students for a more complete learning experience.
