Medical Enhancements Lead to Higher Costs

     Better technology,
     new equipment and
     techniques and new
     drugs give chance to
     higher survival rates if
     these illnesses were to
     detect early.
However, the same also translates into higher costs.
Drug companies, seeking to recoup their high research and investment costs as well as
make some profit for their shareholders, price their drugs accordingly.
