  5. 5. Standrad: IEC 60898 Miniature Circuit Breaker MCB is applicable to electric circuits with rated voltage 230/400V AC, frequency 50/60Hz and rated current up to 125Amp. The product provides protection against voerload and short circuit to electric circuits and equipments in household and commercial installation. MCB is also used as non-frequent changeover of electric circuits. Special tips: 1. MCB is for non-professional operation by those untrained, and no maintenance is required 2. Satisfying conditions and applications as mentioned above,MCB with “ON-OFF” indicating device is considered suitable for isolation function. 3. Particular devices such as surge protective devices,surge arrester etc are recommended to install at upstream line to MCB as precaution against potential surge voltage and current occurring at its power input side. 4. Appropriate tripping curve being chosen and properly installed, MCB trips and switches off its protected circuit in case of fault, and thus provides protection against electric shock. 5. The RCCB provides indirect protection to the operator’s body under such condition that the exposed live parts should be connected to a proper earthing pole.The RCCB also provides protection against the fire danger caused by earth fault current due to function failure of over-current protection device. Special tips: 1. RCCB with rated sensitivity up to 30mA could be used as supplementary protecting device in case other protecting device fails its protection against electric shock. 2. RCCB designed for household installation and other similar application, is for non-professional operation, and no maintenance is required. 3. RCCB provides no protection against electric shock resulted from direct contacts of both protected lines,or leakage current between these two lines. 4.   77. 77. RCBO is applicable to electric circuits with rated voltage 230V AC, frequency 50/60Hz and rated current up to 40Amp. The RCBO provides indirect protection to the operator’s body under such situation that the exposed live parts should be connected to a proper earth pole. RCBO also provides overcurrent protection to circuits in household, commercial and other similar installations. Moreover, it prevents potential fire danger caused by earth fault current in case overcurrent protection device fails. Special tips: 1. RCBO with rated sensitivity up to 30mA could beused as supplementary protecting device in case other protecting device faikls its protection against electric shock. 2. RCBO designed for household installation and other similar application, is for non-professional operation, and no maintenance is required. 3. RCBO provides no protection against electric shock from direct contact of both protected lines, or leakage current between these two lines. 4. Particular devices such as surge protective devices, surge arrester ets are recommended to install at upstream line to RCBO as precaution against potential surge voltage and current occurring at its power input side. 5.
