Finding out where your client is with either a:tude of understanding of your advice/informa1on will be helpful to you both. Q: What if someone says ‘no’ they don’t want your advice/informa1on? A: Comment on it, reflect, empathise, “that’s not something you want to talk about”, or “talking about this is difficult”, or “you’d rather talk about something else, what is that?” 21 Send us a Tweet: @MIinlondon
