This course involves the study of the Code of Ethics of
Civil Engineers, legal procedures in the practice of civil
engineering in the Philippines, and the ethical
relationships of civil engineers with his fellow
professionals, clients and the general public. It also
includes the elements of contracts and obligations, the
Civil Engineering Law and the existing laws in the
practice of the profession in government and private
sector.

1. Attendance will be checked during face to face meetings and online synchronous
meetings, (if the student can’t attend the online meeting he/she must watch the
video recording).
2. All quizzes/exams are announced at least one meeting before the scheduled
quiz/exam. All quizzes and exams will be face to face.
3. If the student can’t take the quiz or major exam on schedule, he/she must
inform the instructor at least two days prior the exam considering the student
has valid reason. If an emergency occurred at the day of the examination, the
student must inform the instructor immediately and should provide evidence of
the situation. The student must write a letter to the VPAA in order to take a
special exam.
4. Must religiously read and follow the instruction of the activities, quizzes, and
major exams.
