What do we do...? <ul><li>Criminal record check- Independent Safeguarding Authority; </li></ul><ul><li>You could pass everything on the course, but if you’re not a person of good name and good character, the NMC may not accept you onto the register; </li></ul><ul><li>Academic Conduct Panel; </li></ul><ul><li>Fitness to Practice. </li></ul>

What does this mean? <ul><li>We rely on you to be honest, trustworthy and reliable, and to uphold the good name of nursing and the University; </li></ul><ul><li>The difference between making a mistake and being dishonest; </li></ul><ul><li>Behaviour on and off campus, i.e. social networking, attendance, mobile phone use/ abuse, talking in class. </li></ul>
