This document outlines plans for creating a Japanese dojo (training hall) in Düsseldorf, Germany. The project aims to establish a place where people can experience Japanese budo (martial arts) culture through activities like kendo, iaido, kyudo and more. Students from the University of Koblenz will help develop project plans, with the goal of building a space that feels authentic while accommodating different styles. Examples of potential designs in both German and Japanese architectural styles are presented.
