  4. 4. Claim and Verify - Google My Business listing – update it with all relevant information – if you work from home then set your business up as a service-area business Good in bound and outbound links, to and from other websites Up to date content on your website Privacy Policy, Terms: Make sure your site has a thorough privacy policy, terms of use and/or affiliate disclosure. These are “boring” pages that Google pays attention to A well written and informative “About Us” page Encourage Google reviews about your business Make sure website is now HTTPS – from July Google will say sites are Not Secure
  5. 5. Encourage subscribers Don’t purchase subscribers from third-party websites Don’t conduct "Sub4sub" exchanges and services from third-party websites that subscribe you to multiple channels which then subscribe to you back
  6. 6. Verify your Facebook page Don’t buy likes - Businesses won’t achieve results and could end up doing less business on Facebook if the people they’re connected to aren’t real (Facebook) Keep track on who you give administration rights to on your Facebook page – Admin, Editor, Moderator, Advertiser Fill in your About Us page with information about your business – get people to rate your services Keep an eye on 3rd party apps Consider developing Page Guidelines so you can tell people what you expect when they engage with your page
