  1. 1. INNOVISION2012ROBO-POOL:The event is for all the pool lovers..but with a little challengeits time do it with your bots not with the sticks..TASK- in the submitting zone with the help of their bots.
  2. 2. e submitting zone at each side of the arena.RULES AND REGULATIONS-  The blocks will be placed randomly in the arena.  Teams can place their bots at any of the desired starting positions.  There will be a total of 20 blocks. 17 white blocks No. of blocks Points 4 2 4 4 4 6 3 8
  3. 3. 2 10 3 black blocks for 1st black block 15 points will be awarded for 2nd black block 20 points will be awarded for 3rd black block 25 points will be awarded Bots can submit atmost 2 blocks at a time. Bots have to submit blocks in the same order in which they have touched the blocks while roaming around in the area. The bots should not touch the black blocks until atleast 5 white blocks have been deposited . After the submission of 1 black block, bot again have to deposit 5 white blocks before touching the next one. 5 points will be deducted if bot touches black block before submitting 5 white blocks.
  4. 4.  Bot have to submit atleast 1 white block in each submission area. Bots cannot pick blocks from kill zone(red zone) if fallen. 5 points will be deducted if bot falls into kill zone and bot will be placed at the starting position again. A total of two restarts will be given. ROUND 1:  6 minutes will be given for each team to deposit blocks.  Top 4 teams with maximum points will be selected for next round. ROUND 2: Two teams will compete at the same time in same arena. Team with more points at the end of 5 minutes wins the round.
  5. 5.  Two teams will be selected from second round which will compete head to head in the final round.NOTE: Small changes in rules and regulations can be made by the organisers at thetime of the competition.ARENA - simple plane ground with four submission areas at each side ofarena and the kill zone will be in the centre of arena. . -magnetic material and will have a maximum weight of 60grams.
  6. 6. BOT SPECIFICATIONS:dimensions 240mm x 240mm (l x b).the beginning of the run when put in the starting point. Bots notfulfilling this criterion will be disqualified.does not damage the arena in anyway. However, it is not allowed
  7. 7. to leave anything behind or make any marks while traversing the arena.All bots found damaging the arena will be immediately disqualified.The final decision is at the discretion of the organisers.units. All bots/units which are touching each other or are in thestarting point will be considered as one bot. methods of collection and delivery of the blocks are at thediscretion of the builder. However, the teams damaging the blocks willbe disqualified. The teams are allowed to use ready-made wirelessmodules/ready-made micro-controller boards/ready-made sensor kits.
  8. 8. However they are not allowed to use lego kits or any similar assemblies.POWER SUPPLY-1. The bots have to use an on-board power supply. No external power supply will beallowed.2. Each team shall bring its own power supply for all its bots.3. The potential difference between any two points on any of the bots must notexceed 24 V DC.4. In case the bot is using a non-electric power supply,

Organisers are not responsible for inconvenience if approval is not sought.TEAM SPECIFICATIONS:A team may consist of (a maximum of) 4 participants.Students from different educational institutes can form a team.ELIGIBILITY: All students with a valid identity card of their respective educational institutes areeligible to participate.
