  1. 1. There are four ways to convey a future action in English will be going to present simple present continuous
  2. 2. WILLForm: will + infinitive; ex: I will give you the answerUse:• we use it to make predictions It will rain tomorrow• to describe sudden decisions I will have a coffee, thanks• to make promises I will always love you
  3. 3. BE GOING TOForm: (be) + going to + infinitive He is going to study more this yearUse: to convey actions we intend to do because they are planned They are going to raise money for a charity
  4. 4. PRESENT SIMPLEForm: infinitive (+ - s or –es) The concert starts at 5 o´clock.Use: to specify timetable hours The trains leave from platforms six and seven
  5. 5. PRESENT CONTINUOUSForm: (be) + gerund We are having a party tomorrow at sixUse: to describe actions already planned with a specific time and place to be holdI am attending the driver license test next Monday at twelve.
