  3. 3.  Sole Proprietorship The owner needs to be a Singapore resident and if foreignerthen he can appoint a local Manger. General Partnership Company Owned by a minimum of two and a maximum of 20 partners atleast one has to be a local person. It is not legally separate fromthe owners and hence the owners are liable to make good anyloss that the company suffers. Limited Liability Partnership Company Should have minimum of two partners, one has to be a localresident. There is no limit for maximum number of partners. Private Company It has separate legal status from its owners and has a perpetualexistence.
