will be a win- winsituationforthe environmentaroundthese areas. The necessities neededwould
nature organicmaterial to create natural wetlandsthroughoutthe smallerriversandconnecting
tributaries, creatingnew habitatsforthe birdsaroundthisareaandmammals and much. These flooding
areas can be constructedintowell-formedwetlandssothe groundwatercanbe cleansedthrough
natural processes.Alongthe Genesee mouththere hasbeentonsof dredgingand the material dugout
wouldmake forgreat material touse forthese floodplains alongthe manytributariesalong Lake
Ontario.Thissort of projectwouldbe a successfor thisarea.I’m sure farmerswouldlove these
wetlands/floodplains made fromthe dredgingmaterial sotheirfieldsdon’twashoutfromoverflowing
