  2. 2. MOOC? Machine Learning?  MOOC = Massively Open Online Courses – Ex. Coursera, Udemy, Stanford, Yale, MIT free courses  Machine Learning – Developing a corpus that judges user input (student answers) for cognitive learning style and follows the appropriate route for material selection and presentation.
  3. 3. Why?  ACCESS!!  Increasing student to teacher ratio  Less available adequate attention to students both exceeding and receding the average educational trajectory.  Nearly insurmountable task for teachers to meet the individual needs/learning styles of each student, subject by subject

More specifically…  The Learner Adaptive Online Curriculum is an interactive, experiential learning platform for primary education as an online/home schooling/supplemental option as a solution for individualized primary learning that is adaptive to the specific needs of the user/learner, allowing for greater access to individual potential, on the individual pace.
  5. 5. Proposed Function  Independent online K-12 curriculum that can be completed as home schooling/tutoring  Supplemental to existing primary programs to bridge teaching gaps and special population needs  Potentially a global platform for primary skills in reading, math, and science
  6. 6. Funding  Prototype and Large Scale Funding – Venture Capital  Coursera has raised $85 million through VC – Grants  Global Partnership for Education  National Science Foundation: Targeted Research  Gates Foundation
  7. 7. Structure  Program Headquarters  Regional Program Support  Local or Remote Teaching Assistants available online via video conference to help resolve student learning issues not being effectively addressed by the program  Peer to Peer groups for shared knowledge support
