Resource Management 2013
• Major sustainability goal is to increase recycling rates for
UMass Medical School and UMass Memorial Healthcare
• In 2013, signed a new resource management contract with
E.L. Harvey

– Monthly reporting
• First six months, recycling rates are starting to increase

– Bring items from home for recycling; collected 75,000 pounds to date

– Upcoming food waste ban July 1, 2014
