Smart Energy Solutions Program§  Background§  First proposed in 2008 as part of theGreen Communities Act§  Resubmitted in 2011 based on G2GSummit§  $44M Pilot approved by MA DPUAugust 2, 2012§  Scope§  2-year pilot - 15,000 Smart Meters§  Dynamic /variable pricing options§  Home energy management devices/tools/technology§  Outreach and Education from traditionalmailings to Sustainability Hub§  Results to date§  5,000 Early Field Trial meters in placeMarch 2012§  Remaining 10,000 meters scheduled tobe installed starting Spring 2013§  Pilot start scheduled for early 2014
