on having witnessed his stellar professionalism of service. My name is Vakeita Barrett,
and I served as the Program Manager for the Memphis Grizzlies CodeCrew Summer
Camp and Hackathon Event.
Jemario served as an Information Technology Instructor Assistant for the Memphis
Grizzlies CodeCrew Summer Camp. Jemario's passion for the community is
commendable; and his leadership skills are outstanding. Jemario was a paid employee,
however, before his paid assignment began he volunteered to help us recruit youth for the
program. Jemario enthusiasm and influence among the youth participants in the program
helped the youth to form friendships and love for technology, so this goes to show that he
excels in the mentoring capacity. Jemario also provided photography, and social media
content relating to recruitment and publicity of the program. Jemario was never late, and
never missed a day of his summer obligation.
As a student of the University of Memphis, Jemario represented their motto "Driven By
