Jean-Jacques Degroof also mentors young entrepreneurs and has participated in the MIT Sloan Student-Alumni Mentoring Program. The MIT Sloan Student-Alumni Mentoring Program connects students and alumni from diverse industries in an effort to facilitate mutually beneficial relationships. After entering detailed information about personal and professional interests and aspirations into the Mentoring Program’s online platform, students receive suggested matches from among thousands of alumni.

In addition to sharing their experiences with students, mentors can introduce mentees to other MIT Sloan alumni and industry executives around the globe. Mentors offer invaluable insight related to career opportunities available to students after graduation as well as effective job-search strategies as they embark on their careers. By participating in the Mentoring Program, alumni contribute to maintaining a robust MIT Sloan community.
