  1. 1. “Good morning / afternoon Mr. Lee. My name is ________ and I am calling from/on behalf of company name, one of the world’s largest providers. We will be hosting an event called (event title) on May 7 & 8, 2016 on Parkroyal in Pickering.” WiththeGatekeeper
  2. 2. “Good morning / afternoon. My name is ________ and I am calling from/on behalf of company name . I’d like to speak with (Target Contact) the (Job Title) please. It’s about (event title).” With the DM
  3. 3. If the answer is YES,
  4. 4. Confirm if he was able to register online.
  5. 5. Most email invites now contain online registration links.
  6. 6. Here’s the line!
  7. 7. “If you have already registered, you will have received an email notification from (company name) confirming your registration.”
  8. 8. If the answer is NO,
  9. 9. Inform the prospect that you will resend it to his email.
  10. 10. Verify his email address (use phonetics), and ask for the best time to call back,
  11. 11. or ask for a few minutes to discuss the event details with the prospect
  12. 12. Get email address and resend invite.
  13. 13. Here's what to say?
  14. 14. “I am sorry to hear that. May I verify your email address please?”
  15. 15. “Thank you. May I have a few minutes of your time now to share with you more on this event?”
  16. 16. Proceed to discuss the event details, otherwise. Here’s the line!
  17. 17. “I will resend you the event invitation today. I’ll call you back later or tomorrow morning to confirm your registration. Thank you for your time and good bye.”
  18. 18. If the answer is YES,
  19. 19. Proceed to verify contact details: Company Name, Contact Name, Job Title, Phone Number (Direct Line/Mobile).
  20. 20. Jet down everything.
  21. 21. Then ask the prospect with this script…
  22. 22. “To confirm we have you registered, may I take your email address please.”
  23. 23. “This event will present relevant content to executives from the manufacturing and operations, finance, IT, supply chain and logistics, plant and maintenance departments.”
  24. 24. “Would you like us to extend this event invitation to any of your colleagues?”
  25. 25. “Thank you for the details. We will be in touch with your colleagues shortly.” We look forward to welcoming you and your colleagues at the event. Thank you for your time and good bye.”

  27. 27. Suggest to register the prospect online on his behalf. If he agrees, proceed to verify contact details: Company Name, Contact Name, Job Title, Phone Number (Direct Line/Mobile).
  28. 28. And if he insists to say no, here's a polite way of ending the conversation …
