Jason Mitchell was Born on January 5, 1987; Mitchell began his
acting career in minor films such as the 2012 action-thriller
Contraband and the 2013 neo-noir Broken City.

portrayed the rapper Eazy-E in the biopic Straight Outta
Compton. The film was highly successful, and Mitchell's
performance was critically acclaimed.

the Texas Killing Field crime film. He

was cast as Eazy-E in Straight Outta Compton
