  • Jan, Thanks for your generosity. I learned a lot. I am about to pitch this concept of a national network of melanoma tissue repositories to potential funders. The concept is complicated, the disease kills mercilessly and I am one of the few Stage IV survivors still alive to pitch. I've got 75 folks attending who've all been touched by this disease directly or through family or friends. I have a wonderful med researcher coming to speak but I must guide him or he can get too techy. I can be dynamic and engaging but only when I am 'on' and I dread asking for funding. Wish me luck!
