If drinking is so enjoyable, why are only 1% of
cannabis sales generated from drinks?
• Beverage Share of Cannabis Market (vs. edibles & inhaling) – less than 1%
• Beverage Share of Alcohol Market (vs. alcohol powders/edibles) – 99.9%
• Beverage share of grocery store sales – 11% - largest grocery category
3 key barriers to widespread adoption exist – and are rapidly
being overcome
1. Science – full-flower effect, taste, rapid onset, clarity,
suspension & stability
2. Infrastructure - scaled manufacturing & DSD distribution
3. Points of Presence – on premises, # of stores
& home delivery
