       But what does it actually mean?

My golden rule for anyone looking to make
 their way in the online world of business:
      Be (super) cool and give freely.
To break this down further; think about
        what it is that you 'do'.
Why should people hire or buy from?
Whatever the answer to this is –
this is what you should be giving away in
             terms of content.
Understand Your
  Audience
What do your website visitors need
  when they come to your site?
What can you offer that will help them?
If you can solve a problem or provide
   easy to follow actionable advice,
        you're on to a WINNER.
Content
Blog posts, articles, videos, interviews…
Don't be scared of feeling like you're giving away
      all of your innermost secrets for 'free'.
The more you give freely, the more confidence
       your audience will have in you.
People will make use of your materials but will
more likely read them, understand how it works;
       and then ask for your help anyway.
Distribute
Post, email, share, retweet, like
Don’t be shy… you’ve got a
   message to spread.
Think about turning that one
  piece of content into…
That one blog post could be
 turned into audio, video or
   even a Slideshare.net
       presentation.
Ripple Effect
Publishing content allows you the ultimate
  opportunity to show what you know.
       You don't even need to sell!
If readers follow your advice from a 'how to'
     article for example, they've seen for
         themselves that what you say
                   gets results.
By producing great content you naturally
become the go to person in your niche.
And sell lots more stuff without
    being blatantly salesy.
