Invited speakers include representatives from municipal planning organizations, ports of entry, economic development councils, state legislatures and Congress, federal & state departments of transportation, local border governments and other key stakeholders from the U.S. and Mexico, including Arizona, California, Sonora, and Baja California. SCAG's efforts include comprehensive communication and the concept of shared planning and efforts as a region. Until now, that has primarily involved Southern California and Baja California. With the ongoing growth and activity in Yuma, and especially in regard to regional efforts such as the San Luis Rio Colorado Port II, the Area Service
