Drilling Supervisor
Foundex Explorations Ltd - August 2005 to November 2015
-Supervisor- Supervised numerous rigs at once on various projects handling daily reports, safety etc...
Reported to main office daily with progression reports
Held Safety drills monthly on the rigs
Problem solved issues downhole that would arise
Directed Crews daily on drilling procedures
• Driller- Operated a DR24 Barber rig - Drilled and installed various types of pumping wells and monitoring
wells sizes ranging from 2" to 10" in diameter and up to 600' in depth. I spent five years drilling on this rig
mostly in Ft.Mcmurray Alberta in the oilsands.
• Driller- Operated a Becker Hammer rig - Performed gravel searches and drilled and installed 2" monitoring
and environmental wells to depths of 200'. I drilled from time to time on this rig when work was slow on the dr24.
• Driller - Operated an AP 1000 air rotary rig- Drilled at Seymour dam in Vancouver for a blast densification
program drilling grid patterns using the symetrex system. The holes were 6" in diameter and up to 160' in depth.
• Driller - Operated a mud rotary track drill - I drilled on this rig for approximately six months coring to depths
up to 160' then installing 3" Slope indicators and vibrating wires on a tailings dyke.
• Helper - I was a helper for about three months on an offshore coring program of the shores of Vancouver bc.
My duties included mixing drilling fluids and additives, helping with the connections of core pipe when needed,
helping with the retreivel of core tubes/core samples, general housekeeping, rigging up and out, moving the
barge.
• Worked in shop as needed when work was slow
• Regular maintenance in field/everyday checklist to prevent downtime
• Worked all over B.C, AB, and the Yukon territory
• Filled in as acting supervisor when needed
• Worked with an assortment of different engineering companies
DRILLER
Downrite Drilling - September 2004 to August 2005
• Driller- Operated a track mounted auger rig- Drilled and installed 2" and 1" monitoring wells up to depths
of 150'.
• Driller- Operated a truck mounted auger rig- Drilled and installed 2" and 1" monitoring wells up to depths
of 100'
• Worked in the shop when work was slow
• Performed maintenance on equipment to prevent downtime
• Worked mainly in the Vancouver area/the odd time on Vancouver Island

I have been working in the rig industry for 16yrs. I started as a roughneck on the service rigs in Alberta and
worked my way up to derrickman where I held that position for two years. Since then I have changed over to the
exploration/geotechnical side of drilling and now am a certified Journeyman driller, but if the right opportunity
arises back in the oil and gas industry I would consider going back. I am a very hard working and very dedicated
person that takes direction well and is good at problem solving issues that arise out at the rig. As a Journeyman
driller I have trained numerous people over the years. Here is a list of Certifications that I have accrued over
