Executive Summary
BOOK-IT ZAMBIA LIMITED is pleased to present Children International Zambia with this short proposal for
the E-learning Services that we provide under our Book-itStudy platform. With commitments to the SDG4,
we understand target number 6 which states that by 2030, ensure that all youth and a substantial proportion
of adults, both men and women, achieve literacy and numeracy. 1 By 2030, ensure that all girls and boys
complete free, equitable and quality primary and secondary education leading to relevant and effective
learning outcomes.
We understand the growing need for online based learning services especially in the Midstof the Covid -19
Global Pandemic classified and declared by the World Health Organization-WHO, from this perspective it
has been noticed thatmajority ofhigher learning institutions are trying to find ways to shift from the traditional
practice of offering the learning services to students as one ofthe means to mitigate the and slow down the
spread of the covid-19.On the other hand ,with respect to addressing this issue locally we would like to
engage Children International Zambia with our service offering that if deemed necessary would be engaged
to learn aboutany challenges they may have been faced with and recognize the unique opportunity that our
LMS-services may provide to the CIZ sponsored children and youths. We believe that the education
technology market is in its inception stage in Zambia and that we are uniquely positioned to successfully
demonstrate and implementour system in the CIZ regulated/accepted higher learning institution and the CIZ
its self with regards to Certification courses(services) that it provides.
Having looked at the number of institutions the sponsored kids attend and their challenges during the
pandemic. we are confidentthat our services willeffectively address someneeds.Ourgoalas an outsourcing
Edu-tech firm is to provide Higher students with a cloud-based Learning Management System (LMS) to
enable them access to remote learning.
The Book-ItLMS is a powerful learning platform that delivers a greatuser experience while incorporating all
the essential tools schools/universities need to support effective teaching and learning. Book-it helps
schools/universities manage all classroom activities, such as creating and delivering educational content,
assessing students, tracking student progress, and promoting communication and collaboration between
students and faculty.

remotely by Registering for courses, receiving lectures, delivering assignments, Creating and executing
tasks, taking quizzes and tests online, Receiving SMS announcements. We have been quite successful with
LIUTEBM university and notably in the entire service provision.
Book-IT Zambia Ltd currently serves over 280 students at Liutebm University as our clientand we are also
in the process ofestablishing significant relationships and partnerships with other players in the education
sector.
