Suburban Absorption Signifies Safety in 2017
Forecast
• Year-to-date absorption has remained strong through the third quarter of 2016 with both Class A and B
accounting for 472,412 square feet of positive net absorption.
• This signifies the safety and security in the suburban Chicago markets, as the Chinese market, Brexit,
and the U.S. Election have all contributed to widespread uncertainty throughout 2016.
• The suburbs will continue to be a pillar of slow and steady growth providing a reassuring outlook for
both investors and tenants as we head into 2017.
