Attendance & Tardies <ul><li>Students are expected to be on time to their classes </li></ul><ul><li>Referrals, detentions, ISS, or OSS can be assigned for too many tardies </li></ul><ul><li>As a student you are required to attend school everyday and if not, please notify your teacher or the office before hand </li></ul><ul><li>Unexcused absences will lead to… Detentions, ISS, or OSS. You might have to write a paper about why you weren’t there. You could also end up going to Juvenile Hall </li></ul>Tardy! I’m late!
  3. 3. <ul><li>3 ring notebook </li></ul><ul><li>Wide or college ruled paper </li></ul><ul><li>12 #2 wood pencils (mechanical pencils are ok) with pencil top eraser </li></ul><ul><li>Crayons, colored pencils, and/or markers </li></ul><ul><li>Pencil pouch for 3 ring notebook </li></ul><ul><li>2 erasable ink pens (black and blue) </li></ul><ul><li>2 red ink pens </li></ul><ul><li>Scissors </li></ul><ul><li>4 spiral notebooks </li></ul><ul><li>2 glue sticks </li></ul><ul><li>Solar calculator </li></ul><ul><li>Flash drive </li></ul><ul><li>Pee Chee Folder </li></ul><ul><li>Please replenish school supplies as needed </li></ul><ul><li>Some classes need other supplies </li></ul>Materials Needed

Hall Behavior <ul><li>Walk in the halls </li></ul><ul><li>Keep to the right side of the hall </li></ul><ul><li>Treat others with respect and courtesy </li></ul><ul><li>Talk quietly </li></ul><ul><li>Keep the halls clean </li></ul><ul><li>No fighting or pushing </li></ul><ul><li>otherwise known as </li></ul><ul><li>“ Road Raging” </li></ul><ul><li>Cameras will record all hallway behavior </li></ul><ul><li>4 minute passing time—plan ahead if you have long routes to classes </li></ul><ul><li>No large group gatherings in the hall </li></ul><ul><li>No open containers </li></ul>
  6. 6. <ul><li>Keep your locker clean </li></ul><ul><li>No “rigging” your locker </li></ul><ul><li>Your locker is a privilege that can be taken away </li></ul><ul><li>If your locker gets stuck, ask the janitor or a teacher to come and help you </li></ul><ul><li>You can decorate your locker </li></ul><ul><li>Only visit locker during passing time </li></ul>Locker Privileges
  7. 7. <ul><li>Talk quietly, and be quiet for announcements </li></ul><ul><li>Keep your hands to yourselves </li></ul><ul><li>Wait to be dismissed </li></ul><ul><li>Clean up after yourself, it’s not other peoples’ job to clean up after you </li></ul><ul><li>Eat healthy meals (no energy drinks) </li></ul>Cafeteria Behavior
  8. 8. Bus Rules <ul><li>Walk on the sidewalk to the bus </li></ul><ul><li>Be ready to board the bus on time </li></ul><ul><li>The bus leaves 10 min. after school gets out </li></ul><ul><li>Obey your driver’s rules </li></ul>
  9. 9. <ul><li>Go to the restroom only during passing periods—only miss class time in an emergency </li></ul><ul><li>Ask permission and ask for a pass if an emergency and SIGN OUT </li></ul><ul><li>Keep the restroom clean </li></ul><ul><li>Report vandalism—cameras view the entrances to the restrooms and indicate time </li></ul><ul><li>Contact an adult when there are problems </li></ul>Restroom
  10. 10. <ul><li>No touching other people </li></ul><ul><li>No threatening other people (even joking) </li></ul><ul><li>No weapons (any knife is considered a weapon) </li></ul><ul><li>No smoking on school grounds AT ALL </li></ul><ul><li>No alcohol or drugs (including prescription or store-bought medication) </li></ul><ul><li>Cell phones/electronic devices not allowed (7:30am-2:30pm) </li></ul><ul><li>No skateboarding on school grounds </li></ul><ul><li>Remember to respect your teachers and peers at all times </li></ul>Major Don'ts
