Realize This Is A Lifetime Change Don’t tell me that I need to “ Get over it ,” or “ Get on with life .” No matter how much time I spent with my child in our life, and no matter how he died or why, he will never cease to have existed. I will always love and miss him.

  • I love this, it is all my thoughts. I lost my beautiful 11 year old August 3,2010 she was murdered by her father's cousin. In that time since I have lost all my friends. Some told me to move on, some said to focus on my other children, some avoided me completely. There is nothing harder or more isolating than losing a child, and the isolation is like suffering another loss. I used to talk to many people everyday and now I have no one to talk to. I would rather be alone though than have people that cannot or will not even try to understand. I am different now, I am broken. My daughter can never be replaced, and the heartbreak will never go away.
