This enables you to drag files directly from the desktop onto a moodle course page and have them appear as resources. That should simplify the process of getting started with Moodle 2. Plug ins  Introducing Easyview  EasyView is the new, free tool from VLE Middleware which allows teachers to upload many types of file (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, PDF, OpenOffice documents) and learners to view those files without needing to install host software on their own computers. So now you can read a Word file without installing Word, or a Word 2007 without installing a compatibility extension for Word 2003, or a static PowerPoint slideshow without a PowerPoint reader!   13. 13. Issues with IE 9  Users of Internet Explorer 9 are currently experiencing issues with the file picker system in Moodle. This is preventing users from submitting attachments in forums, or loading assignments into the system.  Workarounds – Please set your IE9 browser to compatibility mode, before uploading your files.
