UPS WITH INDUSTRY EXPERTS AND FUNDING RESOURCES
New York, NY – Seeking expert advice and seed-funding for your start-up? “SILICON HARLEM DEMO DAY” will
offer Harlem entrepreneurs the opportunity to pitch their unique business ideas before an esteemed panel of
judges in consideration for a series of prizes – including free packages to work out of HarlemGarage, in-kind
services from local business partners, and more. Hosted by Harlem Garage, Silicon Harlem and the Uptown-
Harlem Co-Working Group, the primary goal of the event is to highlight the best and brightest start-ups north
of 96th
Street and connect them with quality resources to support their growth and development.

RULES: At least one co-founder must reside and/or work above 96th St (Manhattan or Bronx), be a
member of HarlemGarage, or have registered and attended any of IncubateNYC's classes
Applicants must submit a one-sheeter outlining the concept, co-founders, and relevant
background information plus a 5-slide Powerpoint presentation outlining their concept. A
2. finished product or business (up to two years in operation) is best, but we are accepting
submissions in the "idea" phase, so long as there are wireframes and/or a workable
presentation.
