Having an app was seen as something that you can use before that point of “acceptance” and therefore enlarge the target market. Patient Cognitive limitations At an elder age, cognitive skills decline. Learning new tools (or apps) and divided attention is difficult. Result is that most features will be overlooked when presented at the same time. ! This lead to simplifications in the Cronicos tablet app and the “Radio.me” innovation project. Patient - Brasil Not feeling “dumb” While visiting a doctor some patients don’t ask questions in order not to feel “dumb”. Especially under lower educated patients in Brasil we found that no questions were asked, although they didn’t understand what the doctor said. ! This defined one of the use cases for MyHealth where a user can get doctor’s notes explained. Área Company Name Family - UK Guilt and worries As family members are not able personally to care all the time, our service fills in part of that gap. Therefore the telecare system is bought as a kind of insurance in stead of for actual emergencies.
