  2. 2. “Let’s do it, Ukraine 2012”- what is it?National environmental action of clean up of parks, roadsides, andother littered zones28 April 2012 was hold the largest clean up since the independence ofUkraine.Let’s do it, Ukraine united more that 51 000 participants from 110 towns,that went out on their workday to expose their active civic position and cleanup Ukraine.More detailed about project results and full list of co-organizers andpartners is available at our website.

Project historyProject «Let’s do it, Ukraine!» is a part of an international initiative«Lets do it!».2008 year- 50 000 volunteers in Estonia collected100 000 t of trash2010 year - 100 000 participants held a clean up in Portugal2010 year - 250 000 participants held a clean up in Slovenia2010 year - 100 000 participants held a clean up in Lithuania2010 year - 150 000 participants held a clean up in Latvia2010 year - 200 000 participants held a clean up in Romania2011 year – project organized for the 1st time in Ukraine, 22000 participant in 56 cities2012 year - project organized for the 2nd time , 51000 participants in 110 cities

Project goals“Let’s do it, Ukraine!” is a noncommercial and non-politcal.Our goal – not just clean green zones from trash, but change Ukrainiancitizens’ attitude to their living space and encourage the conciousneed to keep the surroundings clean and are about the environment.We believe, after cleaning out in the filed once, person becomes moreresponsible for the environment and won’t litter anymore. Due to thenational reach project becomes large-scale, patriotic and has an elementof environmental education.We’re deeply thankful to all the people, companies, organizations thatmade an input with their work, time, materials and resources,- it became asignificant contribution for the project!
