While there seems to be general agreement regarding usefulness of service-oriented architecture (SOA), some confusion still persists about how SOA can be adopted in a cost-effective manner. We believe that each organization has to assess its business priorities and current state of its software applications landscape, to chart out its own roadmap for SOA adoption. In this session, Mulik will describe four possible destinations for the SOA adoption journey viz., Reusable Business Services, Service-oriented Integration, Composite Applications and Foundation for Business Process Management.
