The mystical defined my life and presaged my future. Vivid memories of mundane and extraordinary events and the unique impressions they left on my spirit mysteriously conspired to instill a passion in me to seek out physical and metaphysical truths. My life is a GIFT. As a Jewish child growing up in Nazi Germany, I learned the Yin and Yang of tolerance/compassion and fear/hate. Taking refuge in Columbia in 1940, I learned Spanish and revelled in the wet and warmth of Barranquilla. On to America where I learned English and to play baseball and football. Then to Japan as part of the American Special Services unit where I immersed myself in the culture and learned Japanese. Back to Americ
