1. Competition: Cook your national dish!

2. Background
• When IngredientMatcher launches we want to have all the recipes of all the
national dishes in the world. At the same time we also want to publish an eBook
with those recipes.
• We have the list of all the dishes and we have some alternative recipes for each,
what we are lacking is knowledge about how each dish should be made in an
authentic way
• Therefore we want to co-create these recipes with people that have connections
to that country (either family/relatives from the country or that the person have
lived there)

3. Competition
• Can you cook the traditional dishes of “your” country (you only need to have a
connection to that country)?
• Then you can participate in this competition by creating the recipe of the national
dish, cook the dish and take a nice picture of it.
Prizes:
• If you are chosen as the “country chef” you will receive the ebook and also get a
lifelong membership at IngredientMatcher for free.
• You will also have the possibility to win an iPad mini (or 300 Euro). The 10 best
recipe/photo contributions will be chosen by IngredientMatcher and then a
winner will be drawn randomly from these 10 finalists.

4. Questions
Who can compete?
• Anyone with a connection to the country of the dish they are cooking.
What and how to submit?
• Start with submitting your interest to info@ingredientmatcher.com. Full name,
email and country are required for a valid entry. After that you will receive the
name of the national dish and a couple of recipes for inspiration.
When is the deadline?
• Submit your interest no later than 22nd of September.
• Submit the recipe and photo no later than 30th of September

5. Additional information
• There is already a list with all the national dishes but that can be changed to
another dish if you have good arguments for it. There’s also a collection of
alternative recipes for each national dish that you can start out from if you do not
have a good recipe already.
• When there’s more than one suggested home cook for a country then
IngredientMatcher reserves the right to choose who will be the representative for
that country.
• Sweden does not count in this competition
• The recipes must be written in English or in Swedish
• The jury is Kalle Söderman from IngredientMatcher. Decisions from the jury
cannot be appealed.
• If prizes are subject to personal taxation then it is up to the winners to pay it.
