Beispiel: Vice • Inhalt: Agentur für Branded Storytelling, aber auch Medienunternehmen in vielen Ländern; unterschiedliche Marken mit ähnlichem Tonfall; man will mit News erster sein und die junge Zielgruppe ansprechen, auch für (gesellschafts)politische Themen • Geschichte: Start 1994 als Printmagazin für Subkultur in Kanada, dann immer mehr länderspezifische Ausgaben. Seit 2005 am deutschen Markt, seit 2007 in Österreich. Videos werden großteils Inhouse produziert. Artikel werden auch von Freelancern geliefert. • Kanäle: Magazin, Website, soziale Medien, Snapchat, Video, TV-Sender (inkl. mobile und online). • Produktion: Inhalte aus mehreren Ländern, jeder Kanal mit eigenem Tonfall und eigene Formate.

  13. 13. Beispiel: Runtastic Storyrunning „Momente, die bleiben“ • Inhalt: Ein gestresster Architekt trifft auf seinem Urlaub in Österreich Studienkolleginnen von früher. Durch die Erlebnisse in Österreich überdenkt er sein Leben. • Kanäle: Hörbuch in der Runtastic-App • Produktion: Runtastic in Kooperation mit Österreich Werbung als Tie-In zur Sommerkampagne 2015; Hauptfigur war von Österreich Werbung vorgegeben, Struktur der Geschichte von Runtastic. • Herausforderungen: Spannung erzeugen ohne äußeren Konflikt (Lösung: Inneren Konflikt, innere Reise erzählen); nicht werblich wirken.

Beispiel: Pirate Fishing • Inhalt: Man ist illegalen Fischern auf der Spur, die die einheimischen Fischer bedrohen und ihnen die Lebensgrundlage rauben, indem sie illegal die Meere leerfischen. • Kanäle: Interaktive Website • Produktion: Al Jazeera • Highlights: Gamification - es hat die Dramaturgie eines Adventure-Games. Bestimmte Dinge werden nur freigeschalten, wenn man Aufgaben erledigt hat. Sehr interaktiv.

Beispiel: Everyday Rebellion von den Riahi Brüdern • Inhalt: Everyday Rebellion ist ein Kinodokumentarfilm mit Cross-Media-Plattform über die Macht des gewaltlosen Widerstands und neue Formen des zivilen Ungehorsams in einer Zeit des globalen Umbruchs • Kanäle: Kinodokumentarfilm; interaktive Website mit Usergenerated Content; Graffiti-App • Produktion: Golden Girls Film • Herausforderung: Klassische Filmförderinstitutionen haben noch keine ausgewiesene Schienen für cross- oder transmedialen Content; Website erhalten ist teuer; Filmproduktion braucht viel Energie > wie betreut man die anderen Kanäle? • Große Frage: Wie holt man das Publikum wirklich ab?
