It all began at Perstorp, Sweden, in the 1950's when decorative laminates became popular
with consumers. This sparked the idea for Laminate Flooring and in 1977 at an innovations
project, for the first time Laminate Flooring was mentioned. Three years later it was
introduced in Sweden and by 1982 it had swept the whole of Scandinavia.
