developed by our team of experienced youth development experts to be delivered through
facilitated learning workshops for young people in secondary and post secondary schools.
Our aim is to enable them understand more about themselves, their strengths and the unique
career path suited for their unique personality strengths.
We designed this workbook to be used alongside “CLARITY4D (www.clarity4d.com) Personality
Profiles” which come with a full psychometric evaluation of participants’ personality and
the most suitable career path(s) for the individual all couched in a clear and simple
language.
In addition to the profiles, we also made provision for other leadership and personal
development tools to aid participants in continuous development afterwards.

3. PROJECT D3-X stands for “Discover, Develop and Deploy - X”. It is a personality development and career-path
identification workbook designed to provide a spring-board for young people to have a clear roadmap towards
learning more about themselves and the way their mind works. The “X” represents their specific interest areas
particularly in the academic and career sense.
PROJECT D3-X is designed to guide them towards thinking more carefully about the sorts of careers that may be more
suited to their personality preferences. The aim of PROJECT D3-X is to enable them choose the right university course,
increase their chances of successfully landing dream jobs and ultimately lead them to higher satisfaction in life.
The accompanying profile will highlight core strengths as well as areas for improvement and this will help identify their
strongest skills to enable them put their BEST FOOT FORWARD both now and in the future.
PROJECT D3-X is slightly different from a regular classroom experience in that we have taken care to make it unique
using the “experiential learning model” of “DO, REFLECT and APPLY”.
PROJECT D3-X being the first of its kind, is deeply rooted in research and boasts of interesting and visually stimulating
slides, activities and key takeaways. We are really confident that this project will help them DISCOVER unique and

4. PROJECT D3-X is structured into four sections for easy facilitation and understanding. The
focus is on helping the participant establish their present position and then gradually and
systematically work towards establishing a unique destination using a series of well designed
activities and aids to achieve that.
The workbook starts with the participant discovering his/her unique style and personality
preferences. It then moves on to assisting the participant with establishing how they fit
within their different circles of influence using relationship mapping tools and aids. The
third section covers the critically important aspect of affording the participant insight into
knowing himself/herself using tools such as “the hedgehog principle” and our unique “3D-X
model” of self-discovery. This is also where the participant explores different career paths
with the intention of selecting the field most suited to their uniqueness. The fourth and final
section deals with helping the participant expand his/her horizon and the idea behind this is
borne from the fact that self-knowledge and awareness must lead young people towards
expanding their horizons, circles of influence, views and understanding of who they are and
what they are gifted to do.
The advantage of PROJECT D3-X lies in the research gathered through years of firsthand
experience in the field working with young people.

5. PROJECT D3-X is designed to be as flexible as possible in
execution. However, for a full maximization of the
content and knowledge embedded in the workbook, it
typically requires four workshop sessions to complete.
These sessions can be structured and modified to fit into
four days or more (weekends included), depending on the
preference of the client/organization involved. We
however advise that for the sake of maximum
understanding and appreciation, four days and upwards is
the most ideal both for participants as well as
facilitators.
