Iran, Greece, Trump and Jordan... all from the side of a highway. Here's the World in 60 Seconds.
**
Did Iran’s election matter? Absolutely. Not reformists winning, but moderates winning, and frankly, that’s a bit of an opening. One of the only good news stories we’re seeing in the Middle East right now.
Is Greece headed for a humanitarian disaster? I’d say, yes. Look, in two months, you’ve got a similar number of refugees going to Europe that you saw in six months in 2015. Those numbers are going to get much worse as the weather gets warmer. They want to go to Germany, but they’re going to be stuck in Greece, and they’re really worried about that.
Is European political integration dead? Pretty much. I mean every European government is acting by themselves at this point. Top down from Brussels is not working.
Can Trump unite the Republican Party? Absolutely not. That’s just not going to happen.
Does ISIS threaten Jordan? I would say yes, and it’s too bad. King Abdullah is a good guy. He’s a decent leader.
