An old mill used as a foundry

Johann Conrad Fischer (1773 - 1854)
purchases an old mill in the Mühlental
at Schaffhausen
Malleable Fittings production
Georg Fischer II (1834 - 1887) son of
Georg Fischer I acquires the
Schaffhausen business. He is the first
person in Europe to manufacture
malleable cast fittings. The gas and
water distribution starts.
