  5. 5. In 2015 NASA signed a cooperative agreement with Alpha Space to build and operate the next generation MISSE the MISSE Flight Facility (MISSE-FF). The MISSE offers: MISSE Evolution & Commercialization • Dedicated and continuous access to International Space Station (ISS) • Material & Hardware test/verification (TRL-8) • ZENITH, NADIR RAM and WAKE views • 6-12 Month rotation cycles • Near real-time on orbit data & HD images • Turn key approach MISSE-FF Payload Integration Launch On-Orbit Operations/Test Return to Earth Sample/Payload Return for Analysis Payload/Sample Life Cycle Alpha Space Test & Research Alliance, LLC 5

Location of MISSE Alpha Space Test & Research Alliance, LLC • MISSE is fixed to the exterior of the ISS (ELC-2, Site 3) • All with little-to-no contamination with ability to close MSCs • MISSE yields accelerated and accurate testing results for experiments varying from space suits and flight hardware to car paint and electronics 4 7

MISSE-FF Basics Alpha Space Test & Research Alliance, LLC The modular design allows individual experiments to be added or replaced at different times • Alpha Space will rotate four MISSE Sample Carriers (MSCs) every six months • MSC on-orbit durations typically range from 6 months to 1 year, but we can work with customers to meet their needs if they require longer testing time Active sensors monitor the environment to improve understanding of environmental effects Integrated high-resolution cameras and a system that collects data allow investigators to observe the progress of their experiments 3 8
