  5. 5. 5 The Strategy of the ISSN ICThe Strategy of the ISSN IC - Key objectives: - Release part of ISSN data under - Provide ISSN data to users in various formats including linked data formats, - Implement a new ISSN portal including a customer relationship management system, - Design specialised services based on ISSN data, - Charge fee for ISSN assigned by the ISSN International Centre to publishers based in countries without ISSN Centre, - Provide upgraded services to users.
  6. 6. 6 Implementing the strategyImplementing the strategy - Consultancy mission about agile methodology to specify user stories and delineate the portal’s functionalities, - Call for tender in September 2016 and contractor selected in November 2016, - Distant or in-person sprint reviews held every three weeks, - One product owner for the portal, one for the CRM, - First release of the new system in January 2018, final release in July 2018.
