  2. 2. Amish <ul><li>I really enjoyed the life style of the Amish people. They walk without shoes; do not use electricity for light and use only lamps and candles. For transportation, they use horses. Their lifestyle is interesting. </li></ul>
  3. 3. Hispanic Independence Day <ul><li>Hispanic Independence Celebration was at Kirkwood Community College. I had a chance to talk and know many people from Central American countries and learned some cultural traditions. </li></ul>
  4. 4. Cedar Rapids Art Museum <ul><li>The Cedar Rapids Art Museum is a good museum with good and interesting artwork. </li></ul>
  5. 5. Living History Farms <ul><li>I learned so much important agricultural history including how Native Americans grew crops in Iowa in the 1700s and how gas-powered machines revolutioned agriculture. We rode a tractor cart. </li></ul>
  6. 6. Swimming Class <ul><li>In Iowa, I find that so many young children can swim which is different than Tanzania. This led me to join a swimming class which is so interesting and fun. </li></ul>
