  20. Verbal Communication
  21. Sentences can be perceived in many ways through the use of emphasising.
  22. It is important to make sure if you want to put emphasis on something, that you do it in the correct way.
  23. For example, the sentence, “I never said he stole my dog”. This can mean several different things...
  24. Written Communication
  25. First and foremost, whatever you are writing, make sure that it is all spelt right & is grammatically correct.
  26. Motivation
  27. Treat yourself
  28. Plan ahead and tell yourself that you will do something nice once you’ve finished a project.
  29. Whether that is going out for lunch or buying yourself something new.
  30. Knowing that you can treat yourself once you’ve completed a project can be all the motivation that you need.
  31. Presentations
  32. Slow Down
  33. When people are nervous during presentations they tend to speed up in order to get them over with as soon as possible.
  34. This will show the audience that you are nervous and they may not take you as serious as someone who oozes confidence.
  35. All you need to do is take a deep breath, think about what you’re going to say and add pauses in between sentences.
