Objective of the Meeting
To present the Dairy Development Forum
(DDF) for promoting:
1. A more inclusive orientation in public and private
investments in the dairy sector
2. Professionalization and best practices in the dairy
sector
3. Information and knowledge sharing including,
convening as an innovation platform to address
systemic bottlenecks and co-create solutions in the
dairy sector at national and milk-shed levels
What you will hear at the meeting…..
• Presentation of proposed functions, structure and membership of the Dairy Development Forum (DDF)
from the Task Force appointed at the 8th Annual Council meeting of the Tanzania Dairy Board during the
Dairy Promotion Week held in Moshi in May/June 2012
• Perspectives of stakeholder organisations on what future agenda of the DDF ought to be
• A facilitated session to generate the initial list of systemic bottlenecks in the dairy sector that need to be
addressed
