Our vision: “By 2020, sustainable market oriented sheep production system that contributes to
nutrition and income of value chain actors”
• Incidence of infectious diseases (pasteurellosis, coenurosis, sheep pox,
mastitis and unidentified) and parasites (liver fluke, tryps, lung worm,
ticks , mites, lice, fleas)
• Shortage of effective drug and vaccine supply and poor delivery of public
veterinary services to producers
