This is a presentation by Jamie Skinner, principal researcher at the International Institute for Environment and Development for a panel discussion on Africa, Dams and Development on 24 November 2014.

The event was organised by the Oxford Water Network and the Oxford Martin Programme on Resource Stewardship.

Skinner's presentation asked "What do we know about current impacts on species and wetlands?" and focused on defending environmental perspectives.
